Associate Attorney — Corporate | Litigation | Government Contracting | Aviation & Space

Base Salary: $200,000+ (guaranteed minimum)

Eagle Law Group, P.C. ("Eagle Law") seeks attorneys to join our Los Angeles office. We invite applications across four practice areas:
Corporate;
Litigation;
Government Contracting; and Aviation & Space. This is a single posting accepting candidates for any of the four practice groups. We are building a collegial, high-caliber team that advises growth companies, public-sector entities, and regulated commercial clients. The successful candidate will be client-facing, technically excellent, and able to operate independently while contributing to a team environment.
Key responsibilities (examples by practice area):
Corporate- Advise clients on entity formation and governance, equity compensation, financing instruments (e.g., SAFEs, convertible notes, preferred), mergers & acquisitions, commercial contracting, and corporate compliance.
- Draft and negotiate transaction documents, investor side letters, and corporate governance materials; support financings and board processes.
- Handle business and commercial litigation in state and federal courts and in alternative dispute forums.
- Manage pre-suit investigations, discovery, motion practice, case management, and trial preparation. Take depositions and participate in hearings, mediations, and, where appropriate, trials.
- Counsel clients on procurement, FAR/DFARS compliance, bid protests, claims and appeals, contract drafting and negotiation, audits, and subcontracting / compliance programs.
- Prepare protests, appeals, contract interpretation memoranda, and manage interactions with government contracting officers and counsel.
- Advise on FAA regulatory matters, commercial aircraft/air operator issues (e.g., Part 135/121 considerations), export controls (ITAR/EAR), licensing and permitting for launches and payloads, and transactional work for aerospace clients.
- Support technology and space-sector clients with contract drafting, regulatory strategy, and risk allocation.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and admission to the California bar
, or demonstrable willingness and eligibility to obtain California admission. - Any experience level will be considered; 2+ years at an AmLaw 200 firm is desired.
- Experience in the candidate’s chosen practice area is preferred but not strictly required. Military, intelligence-agency, or other federal government experience (legal or non-legal) is desired.
- Strong legal research, analysis, and drafting skills; excellent oral advocacy and client-communication ability.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, work collaboratively, and deliver high-quality work product under deadlines.
- Professionalism, integrity, and a client service orientation.
- Base salary guaranteed at $200,000+, commensurate with experience.
- Discretionary bonus program.
- Equity participation is negotiable for the right candidate.
- This is a hybrid role based in our Los Angeles office; a minimum of three days per week onsite is required.
- The annual minimum billable requirement is 1,500 hours
