One of our clients, a prestigious Am Law 100 firm
, is seeking a Senior Counsel Employment & Labor to join its expanding practice. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced attorney with a strong background in California employment law
, litigation
, and advisory matters
. Youll work closely with leading attorneys, handling complex and high-profile cases for major employers across the state.

Defend employers in individual and class action wage and hour cases
, as well as PAGA claims
.

Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and dispositive motions
.

Represent clients in court appearances
, arbitrations
, and government investigations
.

Prepare and respond to discovery requests and draft meet-and-confer correspondence
.

Advise clients on compliance with California employment laws
, including drafting employment and severance agreements
, workplace policies
, and employee handbooks
.

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.

7-8 years of experience in labor and employment law
, with significant exposure to California employment matters
.

Proven record of advising employers and defending complex litigation in both court and arbitration.

Active member, in good standing, of the California Bar (or eligible for admission by waiver).

Prior experience at an Am Law 100 or 200 firm preferred
.
