We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our nationally recognized, trial-oriented, civil litigation law firm focused on representing plaintiffs in class action and mass tort cases arising from consumer fraud and defective or dangerous consumer products, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices. Purpose and Impact of Your RoleAs an Associate Attorney you will play an important role in supporting our litigation teams in complex class action and products liability cases. You will be involved from the start to finish of cases, including conducting initial research, drafting complaints and briefs, propounding and responding to discovery, reviewing evidence, taking and defending depositions, and participating in pre‑trial and trial work. You will have the opportunity to simultaneously work on multiple complex class action and mass tort cases filed in state and federal courts nationwide.
WhatOutcomes Will You Achieve
- Deliver accurate and well‑crafted legal documents, such as complaints, briefs, and discovery, that effectively represent clients' interests.
- Efficiently gather and organize evidence necessary to build a strong case foundation and take effective depositions.
- Effectively advocate for clients in legal proceedings in state and federal courts nationwide.
- Provide well‑organized and insightful legal summaries and memoranda to support senior attorneys in developing winning strategies.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the legal landscape to adapt strategies and provide the best possible client service.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active member in good standing with the California State Bar.
- A collaborative spirit and desire to work in a team environment that lifts each other up.
