Responsibilities
  • Trademark & Copyright: Manage filings, renewals, and portfolio protection.
  • Licensing & Agreements: Draft and negotiate IP and branding contracts.
  • Brand Protection: Advise on marketing, advertising, and digital media compliance.
  • Enforcement & Disputes: Handle infringement risks and support enforcement actions.
  • Due Diligence: Conduct IP review for transactions and partnerships.
  • Collaboration: Align IP strategy with creative, marketing, and business teams.
  • Industry Monitoring: Track trends, competitor activity, and legal developments.
Candidate Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in intellectual property law, focusing on trademark, copyright, branding, or licensing.
  • Proven experience drafting, negotiating, and managing IP agreements and licenses.
  • Strong knowledge of brand protection, advertising, marketing, and digital media law.
  • Experience with IP enforcement, infringement analysis, and dispute resolution.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and client counseling skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and portfolios in a fast-paced environment.
  • JD from an accredited law school and admission to the California Bar.
