Our client, a leading global AmLaw 50 law firm, is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join its Gaming practice
. This opportunity is ideal for a junior to mid-level associate interested in advising sophisticated clients across the rapidly evolving online and land-based gaming, sports wagering, and emerging adjacent markets. The practice advises many of the industry’s most prominent operators, technology providers, and innovators on complex regulatory and compliance matters nationwide.
- JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
- Active Bar Admission in the applicable jurisdiction
, in good standing (or ability to become admitted promptly) - 3-5 years of substantive experience in gaming, sports wagering, iGaming, fantasy sports, or related fields (prior law firm, in‑house, or regulatory agency experience will be considered)
- Experience advising on state and federal gaming laws, regulations, and enforcement trends
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- Demonstrated interest in regulatory counseling and public policy issues affecting emerging industries
- Highly motivated, proactive, and collaborative, with strong communication skills and sound business judgment
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda addressing state and federal gaming laws, regulatory frameworks, and enforcement developments
- Review and analyze proposed product features and business models for compliance with applicable gaming and wagering laws
- Assist in preparing regulatory filings and supporting documentation for licensing and approval processes
- Support senior attorneys in advising clients on multistate operational strategies and jurisdictional considerations
- Engage with new and emerging verticals in adjacent or related markets
- Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups on cross‑disciplinary matters, including transactional and litigation‑related work
- Participate in client meetings, calls, and business development efforts
