Stone Dean is a mid sized law firm with a strong reputation in civil litigation, insurance defense and coverage, employment law, and transportation/logistics. We are looking for experienced Litigators with at least five years of insurance defense experience, particularly in premises liability defense. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative, forward-thinking team and make a significant impact.

• Handle insurance defense litigation with a heavy focus on premises liability.
• Take and defend depositions, conduct discovery, draft and argue discovery and dispositive motions, and prepare cases for trial.
• Manage a caseload with a focus on quality client service and efficient case resolution.
• Track and meet minimum billable hour requirements (150 hours/month).
• Leverage Microsoft 365, document management systems, and billing software to stay organized and productive.

• Experience:
  
  Minimum 5 years of insurance defense litigation experience (premises liability strongly preferred) preferred but not required.
• Proven expertise in depositions, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, document management, and time tracking for billables.
• Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced, collaborative environment.

• Attorneys with trial experience or interest in trials: $180,000+ annual salary, plus step-up/performance bonuses for billing over 150 hours.
• Attorneys with less trial experience: $130,000–$150,000 annual salary, plus bonuses for exceeding billable expectations.
