Kelley Drye & Warren LLP’s Labor & Employment Practice Group is seeking a highly motivated mid‑level associate with a solid background in handling litigation, compliance and counseling work. Ideal candidates will have previous law firm experience and at least 3 years of experience advising employers on a broad range of labor & employment matters.
Responsibilities- Advise employers on federal, state, and local employment laws, including wage and hour, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and leave issues
- Draft and review employment policies and agreements
- Handle agency investigations (EEOC, DOL, state agencies)
- Assist with employment litigation matters including discovery and depositions
- Support labor relations matters including union issues, collective bargaining, and arbitration
- JD from an accredited law school
- 3–4 years of labor & employment law experience
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical abilities
- Excellent client‑relation skills and comfort with working with different clients
- Top academic credentials and strong interpersonal skills
We have a strong preference for the candidate to be based in our Los Angeles office. Bar admission is required in an advisor’s resident and/or affiliated office.

The salary range displayed is specifically for those potential hires who will work or reside in Los Angeles if selected for the role. Salary range: $250,000 – $275,000.
