Senior Trial Attorney

Litigation Attorney Hybrid Location - Century City, LA Seeking a Litigation Attorney to join a boutique law firm in Century City.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of a case in both state and federal court, including pre-trial preparation, court appearances, motions, depositions, mediations, negotiations, and trial.

Could be tax, real estate, business litigation ect.

This position requires a candidate with a proven track record in litigation, particularly in jury trials, and the ability to handle a large caseload effectively.

• Manage all aspects of a case in state and federal court from filing to verdict.
• Conduct pre-trial preparation, including discovery and deposition scheduling.
• Meet with clients to discuss case strategy and file lawsuits.
• Propound and respond to written discovery.
• Schedule and attend fact witness depositions.
• Retain and work with appropriate experts, including attending expert depositions.
• Schedule and attend all court hearings.
• Prepare for and attend mediations.
• Prepare cases for trial and try cases to verdict.
• Prepare and file appropriate post-trial motions.
• Attend file audits, litigation attorney meetings, and trial clinics.
• Provide direction and guidance to a team of staff.

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
• A license in good standing to practice law in California.
• The ability to handle a large and active caseload from filing through verdict.
• Success in providing direction and guidance to a team of staff.
• Minimum of 8 years of litigation experience.
• Proven track record of success in jury trials.
