Job Description & How to Apply Below
This is a junior commercial bankruptcy role focused exclusively on creditors’ rights — no consumer work, no debtor-side representation.
The position is based in Encino with a flexible hybrid structure (typically 3+ days in-office) and is ideal for a junior attorney looking to build depth in sophisticated commercial bankruptcy.
The Role- Creditors’ committee and creditors’ rights representation
- Commercial Chapter 7, 11, and 13 matters
- Hands‑on litigation within bankruptcy proceedings
- Exposure to workouts, restructures, and judgment enforcement
- Direct partner mentorship in a specialized niche practice
This is not volume consumer bankruptcy. It is business‑focused, complex creditors’ work.
Why This Opportunity Stands Out- 35+ years exclusively representing creditors in commercial bankruptcy
- Established Encino boutique with long‑standing client relationships
- One of the largest firms in the San Fernando Valley
- Close‑knit team environment with direct training from experienced partners
- In‑house investigative resources supporting litigation strategy
- Clear path for development within a specialized practice
- $100,000–$130,000 depending on experience
- Hybrid flexibility (Encino office)
- 90% litigation exposure within bankruptcy matters
- 1–3 years of experience (around 2 years preferred)
- Creditors’ rights or creditors’ committee experience in commercial bankruptcy
- Exposure to Chapters 7, 11, and 13
- Strong desire to build expertise in a niche creditors‑focused practice
