Position Overview
The Los Angeles, CA office of Lewis Brisbois, a full‑service AmLaw 100 firm, is actively seeking an attorney to join its Toxic Tort & Environmental Practice.
Job SummaryWe represent clients in state, federal, and administrative hearings as well as in a wide range of toxic tort and environmental matters, including Superfund multi‑site litigation and Federal Multi‑District Litigation. Clients span from individual plaintiffs to multinational corporations and government agencies.
Responsibilities- Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Manage all phases of litigation: case management, motion practice, discovery, hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials.
- Advise clients and prepare them for hearings, arbitrations, and trial.
- Admission to the California Bar.
- 1 to 7 years of experience in toxic tort and environmental litigation, or strong litigation skills in a related area.
- Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Demonstrated interest in toxic tort and environmental law.
