Litigation Associate

Direct Counsel is partnering with an excellent litigation firm in Los Angeles that is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join their growing team. .

• Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, memoranda, and other legal documents
• Manage litigation matters from inception through trial
• Take and defend depositions
• Attend mediations, settlement conferences, and negotiations
• Advise clients on pre-litigation and litigation strategy
• Work with expert witnesses and consultants
• Conduct legal research and case analysis

• 2+ years of litigation experience in State courts
• Federal court experience is a plus
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Highly motivated with a drive to deliver excellent results
