under the direction of the automotive pool manager ii or designee, duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- operate and service passenger vehicles, trucks, small-wheeled tractors, and similar motor equipment.
- general labor work.
- instruct, lead or supervise wards or resident workers.
- operate, service, wash, and make minor adjustments and repairs to passenger vehicles, trucks, small-wheeled tractors, and other automotive equipment.
- transport passengers.
- load, unload, and deliver laundry, food, furniture, freight, farm products, gravel, rubbish, and other materials.
- perform miscellaneous manual labor and messenger service.
- keep simple records.
- other related work.
applicants must possess a commercial driver license a or b including passenger endorsement (valid california cdl). Provide your cdl number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements and/or restrictions.
selected candidates must provide a copy of their driver’s record from the department of motor vehicles (dmv).
