Senior Supply Chain, 3PL, and Logistics Leader
A fast-moving global consumer products company is on the hunt for a senior-level supply chain, 3PL, and logistics powerhouse who knows their way around spreadsheets and supplier negotiations.
This isn't your average "manage vendors and attend meetings" role. This is a high-impact leadership position where you'll drive global sourcing strategy, own product-costing excellence, and help shape the financial future of a major player in the consumer packaged goods industry.
Responsibilities:
- Saving money without sacrificing quality
- You'll lead global sourcing initiatives designed to crush savings targets while keeping quality high and supply chains moving. - Managing worldwide supplier relationships
- From factories to freight to raw materials, you'll build strategic partnerships and negotiate contracts like a seasoned diplomat with an Excel addiction. - Building "should-cost" models
- You know the difference between actual cost and what it SHOULD cost. And yes, you'll be expected to prove it. - Turning market chaos into strategy
- Commodity swings? Supplier issues? Capacity constraints? You'll analyze industry trends and stay three steps ahead before anyone else sees the problem coming. - Partnering with operations teams
- You'll collaborate with manufacturing partners to identify cost improvements, streamline processes, and keep continuous improvement… actually continuous. - Leading and developing a team
- Mentoring sourcing and costing professionals is part of the mission. We're looking for someone who can build talent — not just spreadsheets. - Traveling globally
- About 20%+ international travel. Because sometimes the best negotiations happen face-to-face… and occasionally over questionable airport sushi.
Requirements:
- 15+ years in sourcing, procurement, or product costing within CPG or consumer goods
- Deep experience managing complex costing structures and supplier ecosystems
- Strong leadership chops with 10+ years managing teams
- The ability to balance strategy with execution
- Excellent project management skills
- A reputation for solving impossible problems without creating new ones
- Comfort operating in fast-paced environments where priorities shift faster than commodity pricing
