Central Service Technician , Per Diem

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Distribution of supplies and equipment within UCLA Health System.
• Place orders to replenish inventory supply levels and assess inventory turns to adjust par levels.
• Receive and transport supplies weighing up to 50 pounds to destination locations.
• Reconcile packing slips against delivered content and restock inventory supply areas.
• Complete all duties of par management, follow up on vendor direct orders, manage the module supply cart, and maintain barcode labels.

Pay rate: $26.31/hour

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, professionalism, works independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to manage responsibilities with minimal supervision, maintain discipline, meet deadlines, input and maintain accurate data in computerized systems, complete administrative tasks timely, and troubleshoot supply chain discrepancies.
• Capable of identifying medical supplies, following established procedures, contributing ideas for process improvement, receptive to direction, follow instructions, and adhere to UCLA Health policies and procedures.
• Preferred: experience in warehousing, inventory management, merchandising, or supply chain operations; prior experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
