Job Description

The Order Fulfillment & Logistics Specialist is responsible for managing the end‑to‑end order fulfillment process across multiple Starco Brands. This role ensures customer orders are processed accurately, fulfilled on time, and communicated effectively throughout the supply chain. This role serves as a key liaison between internal teams, customers, sales partners, and third‑party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure seamless order execution and inventory flow.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. This position plays a critical role in maintaining customer satisfaction, inventory accuracy, service levels, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Order Management & Fulfillment Execution
    • Own the end‑to‑end execution of customer orders from receipt through shipment confirmation.
    • Process and manage both manual and EDI orders accurately and efficiently.
    • Validate orders prior to release, including inventory availability, pricing, product allocation, routing requirements, and customer‑specific requirements.
    • Release orders to 3PL partners and ensure timely fulfillment and shipment.
    • Monitor open orders, backorders, and exceptions to proactively resolve issues.
    • Ensure accurate and timely shipment confirmations and order status updates.
    • Communicate order changes, delays, and shortages to customers, sales teams, and other stakeholders.
    • Works closely with Operations team to resolve order‑related issues.
  • Inventory Accuracy & Control
    • Review inventory availability and allocation prior to order processing.
    • Monitor inventory levels across multiple 3PL locations.
    • Identify and communicate inventory discrepancies, shortages, or potential stock‑out risks to management.
    • Coordinate with Planning, Procurement, Operations, and 3PL partners to support inventory availability and replenishment efforts.
    • Assist in inventory reconciliations and investigations related to order fulfillment issues.
    • Support inventory transfers and inventory balancing activities across warehouse locations.
  • Logistics & Transportation Coordination
    • Ensure compliance with retailer routing guides and requirements.
    • Escalate transportation, warehouse, or delivery issues as needed to minimize customer impact.
    • Helps coordinate transfer orders for e‑com sales channels.
    • Supports international transfer order process from manufacturers to 3PL warehouses.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an order fulfillment role, with a focus on B2B environments in the CPG or retail industries.
  • A proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with the ability to handle complex customer issues and upscale when necessary.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Experience using ERP systems, business partner portals, Microsoft Suite, and Excel. (Net Suite experience preferred)
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
