A fast-growing DTC health and beauty brand is hiring a Fulfillment Operations Supervisor (3PL & Multi-Node) to own our two-node fulfillment network end to end, from 3PL performance to order routing to cross-node inventory, so the right order ships from the right place every time.
About A fast-growing DTC health and beauty brandWe’re a 9-figure revenue DTC health and beauty brand that’s spent over two decades building non-invasive, FDA-cleared devices for hair, skin, and body. What started in one product category has grown into a full line of at-home wellness devices trusted by hundreds of thousands of customers. We’re under 50 people, which means the team still moves like a startup: lean, high-visibility, and everyone close to the work.
We’re doubling down on hair, skin, and body as we grow, and this role sits right at the center of getting product to customers as we do it.
We’re expanding fulfillment to two locations. Our headquarters ships the Western U.S., and a new third-party logistics (3PL) partner is coming online to ship the Eastern U.S. We’re hiring a Fulfillment Operations Supervisor to own this two-node operation end to end, the person accountable for getting the right order out of the right location, on time, at the right cost. You’ll be the primary owner of our 3PL relationship, cross-node order routing, multi-location inventory, systems integrations, and shipping-cost reconciliation.
You’ll work alongside our Warehouse Operations Supervisor, who runs the physical warehouse day to day, and you’ll report to our eCommerce Operations Manager.
- 3PL relationship and performance: Serve as the day to day point of contact for our Eastern U.S. 3PL partner, monitor SLAs and KPIs like on-time ship rate, order accuracy, receiving turnaround, and damage rates, and lead performance reviews that drive real corrective action.
- Order routing and allocation: Make sure every order routes to the right node by geography, inventory, and cost, catch and correct mis-routes before they ship, and manage split shipments, backorders, and overflow decisions across both locations.
- Multi-node inventory: Plan and maintain inventory allocation between our two nodes, forecast and coordinate replenishment, and reconcile system on-hand against what the 3PL reports, investigating variances as they come up.
- Systems and integration health: Monitor the health of our Shopify, OMS, and 3PL integrations, resolving failed syncs, stuck orders, and tracking gaps before they become customer problems.
- Shipping cost and billing: Review 3PL and carrier invoices for accuracy, approve and route them to AP, reconcile 3PL billing against actual activity, and manage international shipment exceptions and claims.
- Reporting and team building: Maintain the fulfillment KPI dashboard across both nodes, review daily volume with leadership, author and maintain SOPs for multi-node and 3PL processes, and take on direct reports as the team grows.
- You have 3-5+ years in ecommerce fulfillment, logistics, or distribution operations, including at least a year in a lead or supervisory capacity.
- You’ve directly managed or worked closely with a 3PL or outsourced fulfillment partner, not just read about it.
- You’re hands-on with an OMS or multichannel platform like Shopify and Ship Station, plus an inventory or 3PL system such as Fulfil.io or Net Suite.
- You have strong inventory management and reconciliation instincts, and you’re comfortable owning KPIs and living in spreadsheets.
- You communicate clearly enough to hold a vendor accountable while coordinating across warehouse, customer service, and leadership.
- You’re comfortable with a hybrid schedule, roughly half your week onsite.
- Bonus if you’ve worked with multi-node or distributed fulfillment and order-routing logic, parcel carriers and international shipping like UPS World Ship or DHL, Commerce Hub, or Amazon marketplace fulfillment.
- Bonus if you’ve written SOPs from scratch or led a small team before.
This role is ideal for someone who wants real ownership over a growing two-node fulfillment network and the vendor relationships and systems that keep it running, with room to build a team as it scales.
Compensation for this role runs up to $100K base, plus a 15% performance bonus.
