About

the Role

We are seeking an analytical, entrepreneurial, and results-driven Inventory Planning Manager to help build and scale key operational capabilities  will be responsible for developing and executing demand and inventory strategies, managing production and component planning, supporting channel expansion, and driving continuous improvement across operations processes and systems. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and hands-on operator who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable navigating ambiguity, and can leverage data-driven insights to proactively identify opportunities, mitigate risk, and support informed business decisions.

What

You’ll Do

Demand & Supply Planning

  • Own the development and continuous refinement of demand forecasts across product categories, channels, and markets
  • Develop and execute inventory strategies that balance service levels, working capital, and financial objectives
  • Manage inventory allocation across warehouses and distribution nodes to mitigate out-of-stock risk, optimize inventory positioning, and improve outbound shipping efficiency
  • Drive continuous improvement of forecasting methodologies, models, and processes to achieve best-in-class forecast accuracy
  • Own key vendor relationships, leading weekly production status meetings and serving as the primary point of contact for supply and production-related questions
  • Develop component purchasing strategies that balance supply flexibility, margin optimization, inventory investment, and on-time delivery
  • Identify opportunities to improve supplier performance, reduce costs, and increase supply chain resilience
  • Own Amazon inventory strategy, optimizing stock levels, storage costs, and fulfillment efficiency to maximize margin while maintaining target service levels
  • Build and maintain demand and inventory plans to support new channel launches and business expansion, partnering cross-functionally to translate sales plans and promotional activity into actionable inventory requirements

Data & Systems

  • Maintain and continuously improve system of record for purchase order and inventory tracking, ensuring accurate and timely supply chain data
  • Develop reporting, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses that provide visibility into inventory health, supply performance, forecast accuracy, and key business metrics
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and leverage AI to improve data quality, planning workflows, and supply chain decision-making
Who You Are
  • 4–6 years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, supply chain, or a related field
  • Experience working in a high-growth startup or fast-paced, highly entrepreneurial environment is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
  • Highly organized and exceptionally detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work streams simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
  • Excellent cross-functional communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable operating with ambiguity and building processes and systems from the ground up
  • Curious and excited to leverage new technologies, including AI, to improve how work gets done
