A.L.C is seeking a Logistics & Supply Chain Coordinator to manage the end-to-end movement of product from overseas vendors to our domestic warehouses and customers, while owning purchase order creation and supply chain reporting. This role tracks shipments, coordinates freight and customs documentation, and maintains accurate POs in our systems to keep inventory and allocation plans on track. The role partners closely with Production, Planning, and the Warehouse team to ensure product moves efficiently from factory to floor, and provides visibility into delivery status, freight spend, and PO accuracy across the business.
The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience in logistics, import/export, or supply chain coordination, ideally at a contemporary fashion brand with an overseas vendor base. They are detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and comfortable managing multiple shipments, vendors, and systems simultaneously — equally at ease comparing a freight quote, entering a purchase order, and building a delivery report for leadership.

- Track and reconcile freight invoices against quoted rates, escalating discrepancies as needed.
- Create and maintain purchase orders in the ERP/PLM system for all import styles, ensuring accuracy of cost, quantity, and delivery dates.
- Reconcile POs against vendor confirmations and shipment documents, correcting discrepancies before goods arrive.
- Track PO status from placement through receipt, keeping Planning and Allocation teams informed of any changes.
- Maintain organized records of PO revisions, cancellations, and changes in cost or quantity.
- Build and maintain reporting on on-time delivery rates, freight spend, and PO accuracy for the Logistics Manager and cross-functional partners.
- Track and report on vendor shipping performance, identifying trends and recurring delays by vendor or region.
- Provide regular visibility into open POs, in-transit shipments, and upcoming deliveries to support inventory planning.
- Support ad hoc reporting requests from Production, Planning, and leadership.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for shipment status, PO status, and delivery timing across Production, Planning, and Warehouse teams.
- Coordinate with the Warehouse/DC team on inbound receiving schedules and resolve issues related to damaged, lost, or short-shipped goods.
- Run regular check-ins with cross-functional partners to align on delivery priorities each season.
- 3+ years of experience in logistics, import/export, or supply chain coordination, ideally at a contemporary fashion or consumer goods brand.
- Hands‑on experience working directly with overseas vendors and factories.
- Strong background in international shipping processes, including Incoterms, ocean/air freight, and customs documentation.
