Responsibilities

About the Team The Tik Tok Shop US Operations team is responsible for building a reliable and scalable fulfillment network that delivers a high-quality experience for merchants and customers. The team works closely with fulfillment centers (FCs), logistics service providers (LSPs), Merchant teams, and Quality teams to manage operational exceptions, improve processes, and ensure service-level performance.

As a Project Intern, you will have the opportunity to participate in merchant support and fulfillment operations projects, gain hands-on experience in exception management and warehouse operations, and develop a deeper understanding of end-to-end e-commerce fulfillment.

As a Project Intern, you will contribute to impactful short-term projects and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, professional environment. This internship offers the opportunity to develop practical skills, apply your knowledge to real-world challenges, and explore your career interests.

• Support daily monitoring and resolution of inbound, outbound, and inventory-related exceptions across fulfillment centers.
• Assist in coordinating with Merchant, Quality, FC Operations, and LSP teams to resolve merchant and logistics issues within SLA targets.
• Track exception cases and operational performance, identify recurring issues, and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Monitor return processing and dwell time across FCs and coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve long-tail exceptions.
• Support the analysis of site performance metrics and identify potential service-level risks.
• Collect merchant, FC, and LSP feedback to identify opportunities for process and merchant experience improvement.
• Assist in developing and optimizing SOPs for exception handling, returns, and other operational processes.
• Support on-site operational monitoring and follow up on identified issues with relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications
  - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to work across multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Ability to work on-site for at least 4 full working days per week; 5 days preferred.
• Able to commit to an internship period of no less than 3 months.
• Preferred Qualifications
  - Previous internship or project experience in e-commerce, logistics, fulfillment, warehouse operations, or merchant/customer support.
• Familiarity with inbound, outbound, returns, and warehouse exception-handling processes.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams or external logistics partners.
• Basic data analysis skills using Excel or other analytical tools.
• Interest in e-commerce logistics and merchant experience.

Job Information

The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $23.75- $23.75.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location.

• Interns have day one access to health insurance, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and more.
• Interns also receive 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in first half of year, 40 if hired in second half of year).
• Interns who are not working 100% remote may also be eligible for housing allowance.
