Global Logistics Analyst

The Role The Global Logistics Analyst will manage end-to-end export operations from documentation and classification to carrier coordination and claims resolution. You will ensure compliance with U.S. and foreign import/export regulations, accurately handle hazardous and lithium battery shipments, and partner with carriers, freight forwarders and internal teams to optimize transit and cost.

• Prepare customs invoices, commercial documentation, and shipping labels for export orders.
• Classify products and assign export codes (HTS/Export Control) in coordination with OEMs and internal stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Identify and correctly handle lithium batteries and other hazardous materials per IATA, IMDG, DOT and applicable country rules.
• Track shipments from origin to destination and maintain timely status updates for stakeholders.
• Run denied party and sanctions screening on every export and elevate potential hits for review.
• Create, file and resolve freight claims and disputes promptly.
• Quote international shipping fees, duties, and taxes for export orders; validate carrier invoices and maintain an invoice tracker.
• Coordinate daily with DHL, Fed Ex, UPS, freight forwarders and trade agents to secure capacity and competitive rates.
• Process international invoices and maintain accurate records for billing and audit.
• Support project delivery schedules and cross-functional initiatives to meet customer timelines.
• Monitor changes in global trade regulations and recommend process or policy updates to maintain compliance and mitigate risk.

• Experience handling hazardous materials and lithium battery shipments (IATA/IMDG/DOT).
• 3+ years of experience in global logistics, international shipping, supply chain operations, or related analytical roles.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. export regulations (EAR, ITAR as applicable), customs documentation, HTS classification and international trade terms (INCOTERMS).
• Handson experience tracking international shipments and working with freight forwarders and customs brokers.
• Exposure to global trade requirements, including duties, VAT, import/export documentation, and regulatory considerations.
• Experience supporting multiple stakeholders in a fastpaced, operational environment.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify issues, and resolve execution level problems efficiently.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or military service.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple orders and priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey status and issues clearly.
• Highly organized and processoriented, with strong followthrough.
• Comfortable working independently while coordinating closely with cross functional teams.
• Strong problem solving skills and sound judgment in timesensitive situations.
• Proficiency with business tools such as Excel, order management systems, and collaboration platforms.
• Interest in continuous improvement, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
