The Hospital Contract Administrator manages end-to-end procurement, category sourcing, and vendor contract activities to optimize pricing and supply assurance. This role collaborates with internal stakeholders and external partners to evaluate spend, lead negotiations, and implement cost-effective sourcing strategies.

* Primary Responsibilities for a Hospital Contract Administrator **

• Develop and execute category strategies, pricing models, and "what-if" economic scenarios to drive organization-wide savings.
• Partner with GPOs and distributors to manage product portfolios, benchmarking reports, and purchase plans.
• Direct end-to-end sourcing: spend analysis, bid evaluation, contract negotiation, rebates, and closeouts.
• Manage vendor performance, review SLAs, support QBRs, and ensure supply assurance.
• Work with cross-functional teams to standardize products, assess new technology requests, and implement process improvements.
• Maintain complete contract documentation in compliance with sourcing standards.

  * Qualifications for a Hospital Contract Administrator **
• *
  * Education:
  ** Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Accounting, Contract Administration, or related field.

  * Experience:
  ** 3–5 years in purchasing, contracting, and vendor negotiations within a complex environment (preferably healthcare).

  * Technical:
  ** Oracle, Lawson, Advanced Excel, and contract/ERP databases.

  * Skills:
  ** Contract review, critical thinking, and independent execution.
