Customer Service Warehouse Associate

Ewing Outdoor Supply is a fourth generation, family-owned wholesale landscape, irrigation, and outdoor supply company looking for dependable, customer-focused team members to join our operations team. The role offers a variety of activities—including customer service, warehouse operations, inventory support, local deliveries, and sales assistance—making it ideal for someone who enjoys being active, working both indoors and outdoors, and being part of a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.

Prior industry experience is not required; we provide world‑class training to set you up for success from day one.

• Customer Service & Sales
  • Greet customers, answer calls, field questions, and build customer relationships.
  • Support customers in selecting landscape materials, outdoor supplies, and irrigation product recommendations.
• Warehouse & Yard Operations
  • Pull, stage, and load customer orders, including stone, soil, mulch, and hardscape materials.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, well‑stocked, and welcoming warehouse and yard while following all equipment and material‑handling safety standards.
• Inventory Management
  • Receive and stock deliveries and transfers.
  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory accuracy checks.
• Delivery and Transportation
  • Load and unload materials using company delivery vehicles while following all safety protocols.
  • Safely deliver customer materials in company delivery vehicles to local job sites, providing world‑class customer service upon arrival.

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs regularly
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Basic math and communication skills
• Team player with a commitment to world‑class customer service

• Warehouse associate experience
• Delivery driver experience
• Forklift certification
• Knowledge of irrigation, plumbing, or landscape materials (training available)
• Spanish bi‑lingual is always a plus

• Prior outdoor supply industry experience (preferred)
• Comfortable with repetitive physical tasks such as stooping, squatting, and lifting items above the head
• Comfortable operating and making deliveries on a daily route in a commercial vehicle (e.g., Isuzu NRR 650)
• Customer orientation and adaptability to diverse personalities
• Ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Basic math skills
• Excellent communication skills and relationship building
• Performance in fast‑paced environments
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills

• Spanish & English bilingualism
• Ability to operate forklifts and tractors in varied weather and traffic conditions (training available)
• Proven experience as a Customer Service or Sales Associate
• Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
