Senior Operations Agent

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Operations Agent specializing in Global Forwarding to join our logistics team (mainly Airfreight). This role involves operating end-to-end transportation processes, coordinating with carriers and clients, and ensuring seamless execution of freight operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of supply chain management, transportation systems, and customer relationship management to optimize freight solutions and support business growth.

• Coordinate and oversee freight forwarding operations, including booking shipments, scheduling pickups, and dispatching carriers.
• Manage transportation planning to ensure timely delivery while optimizing costs and routes.
• Utilize Transportation Management Systems (TMS), EDI, and CRM software to track shipments, update records, and communicate with clients and carriers.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Handle data entry related to shipments, billing, and documentation accurately within Cargo Wise or similar systems.
• Monitor freight movements using logistics sales tools to ensure efficiency and resolve any issues promptly.

• Extensive knowledge of supply chain management, transportation management systems such as Cargo Wise.
• Strong understanding of logistics operations including transportation planning, dispatching, carrier sales, and freight management.
• Proven experience in B2B sales, inside sales, negotiation, contracts management, and logistics sales strategies.
• Familiarity with 3PL services, NVOCC operations, FDA regulations related to freight forwarding, and transportation compliance standards.
• Excellent communication skills for customer relationship management and account management.
• Ability to analyze data for pricing strategies and lead generation activities.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for data entry and documentation accuracy.
