Director Supply Planning

We're looking for a Director of Supply Planning to own how we turn a forecast into product on the shelf — across the full portfolio, across two regions, and across a supply chain that runs from Hong Kong production through to retail in-stock at accounts like Target and Walmart.

This is a build-and-run role. You'll inherit a tooling spend line that's running well above target and a retail in-stock position that needs active recovery — and you'll have the mandate, the team, and the seat in the monthly executive S&OP review to fix both.

• The Global Supply Plan — set the strategy and targets for supply planning performance across Americas and EMEA; lead the regional Supply Planning Managers who execute against them.
• Forecast Delivery — accountable for shipping against the locked 8-month forecast in both regions, with a named owner on every material miss.
• The 5-Month Forward Supply Match — consolidate a single executive view across both regions, published monthly to Executive Leadership, Sales, Demand Planning, and Order Management.
• Early-Warning on Constraints — flag lead time, capacity, tooling, or material issues before they become missed shipments, not after.
• Retail In-Stock — lead the recovery plan at key accounts, with weekly item-level reviews and tighter allocation discipline.
• Inventory Health — bring finished goods inventory back into target range and run the aged/obsolete liquidation strategy.
• Tooling Spend Governance — build and run the approval gate that ties every tooling PO to a locked forecast and real capacity.
• The Seasonal Cycle — Chase/Cancel, Fall/Spring resets, and global production allocation, delivered through your team.

You'll chair the Monthly Supply Planning Review, represent Supply Planning in the executive S&OP process, and be the escalation point for allocation conflicts, expedite decisions, and shortage recovery.

• Consistent, on-target delivery against the 8-month locked forecast, in both regions.
• A forward supply match process that's trusted and used by Sales, Demand Planning, and Order Management.
• Retail in-stock recovered and holding across the account base.
• Tooling spend back inside its target envelope, with a live PO approval gate.
• Year-end inventory in a healthy, targeted range.
• A clean, on-time execution of Fall and Spring modular resets.
• A successor identified and in development.

• 8+ years in supply chain / supply planning, with experience owning results across multiple regions.
• Proven people leadership — you've managed managers, not just individual contributors.
• Experience partnering across Demand Planning, Manufacturing/Production Planning, Product Development, Procurement, Finance, and Sales.
• Comfort owning a number in front of an executive audience — you can explain not just what happened, but what you're doing about it.
• Experience with consumer products supply chains a plus; toy, hardline, or seasonal-demand categories a strong plus.
• Track record of building process where none existed (approval gates, governance, reporting cadence).
