Maintenance Repair Technician III - LAX Airport - LAXTEC

Join Oshkosh Aerotech as a Machine Repair Technician Level 3, leading advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs of complex Passenger Boarding Bridge (PBB) systems and associated electrical/mechanical components. In this senior technical role, you'll manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance efforts, provide team leadership, and ensure operational excellence through detailed documentation and data analysis. Your expertise will be critical in maintaining seamless airport operations, safety compliance, and efficient system functionality.

Lead and delegate tasks while communicating professionally with customers and team members.
** MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
** Ability to obtain necessary security clearance. 5+ years’ experience in the area of maintenance operations.
** PREFFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
** Familiarity with Airport operations.

Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics

Experience with passenger boarding bridges and conveyance systems.

While performing the duties of the MRT 3, the employee is regularly required to stand; sit; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance and work in small spaces. Ladder work required. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Ability to work in outside weather conditions on an airport ramp around aircrafts and the confined areas of baggage conveyor systems. Specific vision abilities required by this job include good, close proximity vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Good hand / eye coordination is required.
