Facilities Ground Keeper (Full Time Days)

CHA Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center (HPMC), an acute care facility serving the Hollywood community and beyond, seeks a Facilities Ground Keeper for full-time weekday shifts.

Base pay: $16.64/hr - $21.80/hr (actual pay based on skills and experience).

• Patrol grounds and monitor gates and entrances.
• Maintain landscaping and grounds; ensure uniform and satisfactory appearance.
• Touch up paint and remove graffiti.
• Operate and safely use equipment such as pressure washers.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools; document maintenance.
• Adhere to safety regulations (wear safety apparel, including glasses, appropriate shoes).
• Collect trash in parking garage and all outdoor areas.
• Leave work sites clean and return tools and equipment to storage.
• Repair broken fences/posts; replace broken light bulbs in parking garage and outdoor lights.
• Keep outside walkways clear of debris.
• Maintain facility roadways, parking structures, stairways.
• Support a culture of safety and quality.

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working in a union environment.

• Additional languages.

• Valid state driver's license.
• Los Angeles County Fire Card (required within 30 days of hire).
• Assault Response Competency (ARC) (required within 30 days of hire).
