Description
Reporting to the Senior Superintendent and/or Director, the Facilities Mechanic will perform routine and semi-skilled tasks in the maintenance, alteration, and repair of buildings and related facilities equipment under general supervision. At the following locations:
Ronald Reagan Hospital, RNPH, Medical Plaza 200 and 300, CHS Hospital Space, West Medical, Tiverton Hotel, Mid-Wilshire, UCDC/MOC warehouse and Offsite Clinics. Incumbents may work independently, as part of a maintenance crew, or under the general direction of a journey-level crafts worker.
This position involves responsibilities for routine and emergency maintenance across multiple hospital and offsite locations, ensuring safety, functionality, and compliance. The candidate must be skilled in critical thinking, detail-oriented, and dedicated to delivering high-quality work in a dynamic, 24/7 environment.
Salary Rate: $37.47
