UA Senior Custodian – Inside Higher Ed

Salary: $19.47 – $25.16 hourly

Schedule: Swing shift (5:00 pm – 1:30 am). Hours may vary.

Under the direct supervision of the Custodial Supervisor, perform various housekeeping duties within University Apartments, including:

• Sweep and mop floors; operate trash compactor, street sweeper, carpet extractor, and floor machines.
• Collect and dispose trash and recyclable items; clean restrooms and recharge supplies.
• Dust and wax furniture; vacuum and shampoo carpet; wash walls and clean Venetian blinds.
• Perform floor restoration, stripping, waxing, and polish brass, chrome, and other metal fixtures in restrooms, offices, and apartment units.
• Ensure all entry doors and inside office doors are secure.
• Provide customer service to residents and report suspect individuals or circumstances to campus police or supervisor.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Full-time position. Requires swing shift and readiness to adjust to operational needs.
