Salary Range: $26-33/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and construction plans.
• Collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and project managers in product and structure development.
• Assemble and fabricate parts using hand tools, welding equipment, power tools, and other machinery as necessary.
• Perform simple welding tasks using MIG or stick welding for minor repairs and fabrication. Execute general contracting tasks, including framing, carpentry, and installation of structural elements.
• Perform basic electrical work such as wiring, conduit installation, and troubleshooting under supervision or per code requirements.
• Perform general maintenance on fabrication and electrical tools and equipment.
• Working knowledge of sheet metal bending and structural assembly.
• General mechanical knowledge to perform a variety of in-house and on-site projects.
• Familiarity with machines and tools, including hydraulic brake and shear; understand their design, use, repair, and maintenance.
• Ability to read and follow electrical diagrams and apply basic electrical safety practices.
• Install and terminate electrical panels, switches, and outlets according to code.
• Perform troubleshooting and repair of electrical circuits and components
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two to five years general construction experience
• Two to three years of fabrication experience
• One to three years electrical experience

Additional Requirements:

• Forklift certification preferred or willingness to become certified upon hire.
• Must have clean driving record.
• Own adequate tools
• Must be able to comprehend, speak and write the English language, Excellent verbal communications skills.
• Pass random drug tests.

Working Conditions:

• This position may require working evenings, weekends, and outdoors.

Physical Requirements:

• This position may be physically challenging, require standing for prolonged periods of time, lifting up to 100 lbs. and involve repetitive tasks.
• Visual acuity to see details at close range while performing the job.
• Color vision
• Use proper lifting procedures and techniques.

Travel:

This position may require travel out of state.
