LA Rams: Sr. Manager of Team Travel and Logistics
Location: Woodland Hills Practice Facility
Position Overview: The Sr. Manager of Team Travel and Logistics is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing all travel, scheduling, and logistical operations for the LA Rams football team. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong cross‑functional collaboration, and the ability to operate calmly and decisively in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure professional sports environment.
Team Travel & Logistics- Plan, coordinate, and execute all team travel for home and away games, postseason, and special events, including air travel, ground transportation, lodging, and meals
- Serve as the primary liaison with airlines, charter providers, hotels, transportation vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Prepare detailed itineraries and manage all travel‑related documentation, ensuring vendors and team personnel have the information needed for smooth execution
- Anticipate and resolve real‑time travel disruptions and logistical challenges
- Organize and maintain the team’s annual, monthly, and weekly schedules, including practices, workouts, and meetings
- Coordinate schedule changes with coaching staff and relevant internal departments
- Ensure timely and accurate communication of schedules and updates to players, coaches, and staff
- Ensure all travel, scheduling, and logistical operations comply with NFL rules, policies, and the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
- Develop, manage, and reconcile the team travel and logistics budget
- Track expenses, prepare forecasts, and identify cost‑effective solutions without compromising team performance or player experience
- Negotiate and manage vendor relationships and contracts in partnership with finance and legal
- Supervise support staff and coordinate onboarding for new hires
- Assist other departments with operational needs
- Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, or a related field is typically required.
- 7+ years of full‑time experience in football operations, athletics administration, or team travel/logistics at the collegiate or professional level
- Proficiency in athletic software platforms (e.g., Team Works)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional organizational and time‑management skills
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities
- Proven ability to manage complex logistics under pressure and tight timelines
- High attention to detail with a proactive, solution‑oriented mindset
- Successful, error‑free team travel
- Zero violations of league rules
- Maintenance of the program budget within established limits
- Efficient daily operation of the football facility and schedules
Salary Range: $90,000-$130,000.
