Position Overview

As the General Manager your role will be to not only oversee daily operations of both front and back of house but also set the tone for the culture of our organization. We are looking for a leader that excels in constructive communication, team building, sees themselves as a lifelong learner, and enjoys mentoring staff at all levels.

Key Responsibilities Leadership
  • Directing personnel including:
    Executive Chef, Events Manager, Assistant Taproom Manager
  • Serve as conduit between ownership and leadership, ensuring operations meet the Company mission and value systems, brand standards, target guest needs, ensure employee satisfaction, grow revenues and maximize financial performance.
  • Lead the hiring process of all direct reports and provide oversight on all front line staff hires.
  • Oversee all activities of direct reports and provide constructive feedback, guidance, and mentorship to facilitate team members completing work at the highest standards and with the utmost confidence.
  • Conduct Performance Evaluations for team in a manner that is goal-oriented, facilitates professional growth, and encourages self-reflection.
  • Lead through example, demonstrating personal care, self-motivation, and dedication to excellence.
  • Effectively communicate with all departments, creating a cohesive team environment.
  • Ensure that the company culture and core values are properly represented at all times.
  • Oversee adherence to all restaurant onboarding, training, and staff development materials and processes for the purpose of developing and maintaining a happy, knowledgeable, and committed workforce throughout the entire company.
Operations
  • Oversee all restaurant operations for the Company
  • Manage the implementation of new systems that improve operational efficiency and guest experience
  • Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of the business to ensure sustained growth and elevated guest experiences.
  • Ensure that guest experience and product quality consistently meet brand standards.
  • Build a highly systemized operational foundation to prepare the restaurant for fast and healthy growth - drive topline, optimize volume, ramp up events, add distribution as a revenue source
  • Develop and maintain a written set of operating standards to ensure best practices.
  • Regularly evaluate the efficiency of business policies, procedures, and systems according to organizational objectives and apply improvements.
  • Manage vendors, agreements, and procurement processes to ensure all products and tools are always competitively priced, fully available and of the highest quality.
  • Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data and metrics.
  • Ensure that the company operates within assigned local, county, state and federal laws and regulations.
  • Understand and adhere to the company’s policies & procedures as defined in the employee policy handbook.
Financial
  • Manage the annual budget for the Company including events, ensuring cost-effective operations and maximizing profitability without sacrificing or compromising quality
  • Collaborate with ownership to develop strategies for increasing revenue and driving growth
  • Diligently work to achieve budgeted costs by systematically reviewing processes and implementing cost control measures without compromising the quality of product or efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Ownership on forecasting and goal setting.
  • Share financial targets, metrics, and analysis of revenue and expenses with management.
