The Millwork Director is the senior leader responsible for the strategic planning, management, and execution of large-scale, high-end millwork projects. This working director will actively participate in the fabrication process alongside their team. They will ensure the highest quality work while optimizing production resources for peak efficiency.

• Project Specific: Strategically plan, manage, and oversee the full production lifecycle for large-scale millwork projects, focusing on optimizing the use of time, material inventory, and shop resources to consistently meet quality standards and production deadlines.

• Team Leadership: Directly manage a team of fabricators, fostering a high-performance environment, managing daily work assignments, utilizing personnel skills and resources to their utmost potential. This person will create and foster a culture of excellence and teamwork and a positive work environment.

• Quality Assurance and Process Improvement: Establish and enforce rigorous quality control measures throughout the fabrication process. Continuously evaluate and implement improvements to millwork workflows and systems for increased efficiency and reduced waste.

• Five (5) or more years of experience fabricating high-end cabinetry or millwork,

• Thorough knowledge of industry-standard tools, equipment, materials, and best practices in the woodworking and cabinet-making trades.

• Expertise in leading, managing, and mentoring a team of people.

• Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills, particularly related to project logistics, resource allocation, and budget control.

• Proficiency with drafting software such as Sketchup or an equivalent CAD/CAM system.
