** Scope:
** The VP, Accounting Operations is a key leadership role within the accounting organization, responsible for the strategic oversight and management of the company's billing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable functions. This individual will drive the transformation and optimization of these core processes, ensuring they are efficient, scalable, and support the company's growth. The ideal candidate is a seasoned leader with a proven track record of managing global, high-performing teams, implementing financial systems, and strengthening internal controls in a dynamic, public company environment.
This role will report to the Chief Accounting Officer.

* Key Responsibilities:
** Strategic Leadership
* Develop and execute a long-term vision for the accounting operations teams, focusing on scalability, process improvement, and technology adoption across accounts payable, procurement, and billing.
* Act as a key strategic partner to the Chief Accounting Officer and other accounting leaders.
* Lead the integration and optimization of accounting operations for any new business lines or acquisitions.
Team Management
* Lead, mentor, and develop a global team responsible for billing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
* Set clear performance objectives and provide regular feedback and coaching to team members.
* Develop a set of KPI’s to measure the group and individual performance, driving for continuous improvement of KPI’s annually.
Process and Systems
* Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to increase efficiency and accuracy across all managed functions.
* Play a key leadership role in the ongoing implementation and enhancement of financial systems, including Oracle and the establishment of a procurement function.
* Ensure the integrity and effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting (SOX) for the end-to-end procure-to-pay cycles.
Operational Oversight
* Oversee the entire lifecycle of client billing and revenue collection, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and cash application.
* Manage the accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely payment processing, vendor management, and expense reporting.
* Develop a set of KPI’s to measure the group and individual performance, driving for continuous improvement of KPI’s annually.

* Qualifications:

* Education:
* Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
Experience and Skills:
* 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, including years in a leadership role overseeing billing, A/R, and/or AP.
* Strong understanding of US GAAP and SOX compliance.
* Proven experience leading and scaling teams in a public company environment.
* Demonstrable experience in leading process improvement initiatives and financial system implementations (experience with Oracle is a significant plus).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and work independently with minimal supervision

** Houlihan Lokey is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive total compensation package, which may include other components such as discretionary incentive compensation. The firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible salary range for this role at the time of posting is:$200,000-$215,000
Actual salary at the time of hire may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant qualifications, skills, and experience and the location where this position may be filled.
