Job Title: Multisite Maintenance Manager
Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt

Overview:
A leading multi-family housing organization is seeking an experienced Multisite Maintenance to oversee the upkeep, repairs, preventive maintenance, and capital projects across multiple apartment communities. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, train, and supervise maintenance teams, including technicians, porters, and housekeepers.

  • Develop and implement maintenance policies, standards, and preventive programs.

  • Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations for maintenance staff.

  • Conduct property inspections, ensuring unit turns, repairs, and upkeep meet quality standards.

  • Manage budgets, control expenses, and coordinate capital improvement projects.

  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and property management laws.

  • Negotiate with vendors, manage service contracts, and maintain approved vendor lists.

  • Provide hands-on assistance with maintenance tasks as needed.

  • Foster a culture of teamwork, safety, and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in a related field or equivalent trade experience.

  • Certifications in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing preferred.

  • Proven leadership experience in a similar role, ideally in multi-family property management.

  • Strong knowledge of building systems, tools, and safety regulations.

  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

  • Ability to travel between properties and work evenings/weekends as needed.

  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and property management software (e.g., Yardi).

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

  • Frequent movement across properties; indoor/outdoor work in all weather conditions.

  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and operate maintenance equipment.

  • Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and proof of insurance required.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary based on experience. 130k-160k
