Addison Group SoCal is engaged in a search for the newly created position of Accounting Manager who willtake the day-to-day helm and revitalize the accounting function. This hands-on role will lead an experienced team and invigorate it with automation, upgrading of GAAP internal controls & compliance, and management reporting that provides insights to all internal stakeholders, executives and board leaders.
The Accounting Manager will have a background with non-profit accounting and ideally a CPA. In this role, you are responsible for preparing financial statements, reporting & analysis, overseeing fund accounting, managing the GL, external audit, and leading periodic closes. Your team will look to you for development and guidance to whom you will provide cross-training. A background with cloud system implementations is highly desirable as that is on the radar.
Our client offers a compensation of $130-140K and an attractive benefits plan with an unusually generous PTO policy.
