About Wow Now
Wow Now is an AI-driven, distributed manufacturing platform that brings personalized creation closer to consumers. Our machines combine CNC, UV printing, and intelligent software to enable on-demand production across retail, events, and partner locations.
We are building the next generation of localized manufacturing — and we’re looking for a hands-on technical leader to make sure every machine runs at its best.
Role OverviewThe Lead Technician plays a critical role in ensuring Wow Now machines are installed correctly, operated at peak performance, and supported throughout their lifecycle.
This role owns installation & commissioning, operational excellence, after-sales service, and acts as the technical backbone for agents, operators, and outsourced service partners.
This is a hands-on + leadership role, not a bench technician.

- Verify electrical, network, and site readiness; coordinate with landlords, malls, or operators as needed
- Document installation standards, checklists, and best practices
- Ensure machines consistently achieve maximum production efficiency and output quality
- Monitor recurring issues and optimize workflows, materials usage, and machine settings
- Work closely with product, engineering, and operations teams to feedback field data
- Support pilot locations and new use-case deployments
- Own troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance strategy
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues
- Define service SLAs, spare parts strategy, and escalation procedures
- Support warranty and post-warranty service processes
- Manage and coordinate third-party technicians and service vendors

- Basic troubleshooting & maintenance
- Quality control standards
- Develop training materials, SOPs, and onboarding documentation
- 5+ years of experience in equipment installation, field service, or technical operations
- Strong hands-on background in electromechanical systems, automation equipment, CNC, printing equipment, or similar machinery
- Experience supporting distributed or multi-site deployments is a strong plus
- Comfortable managing vendors and external service teams
- Ability to train non-technical users and partners clearly and patiently
- Willingness to travel within the U.S. as needed
- Strong sense of ownership, reliability, and problem-solving mindset
- Experience with CNC, UV printing, robotics, or industrial automation
- Experience working with agents, franchisees, or channel partners
- Familiarity with SOP creation, service documentation, and training programs
- Startup or early-stage company experience
- Machines are installed right the first time
- Production runs smoothly with high efficiency and consistent quality
- Downtime is minimized and issues are resolved fast
- Agents and partners operate confidently and independently
- Outsourced service teams meet Wow Now’s technical and quality standards
- Be part of building a new category of localized manufacturing
- Direct influence on product quality, customer experience, and scale
