Position SummaryLevel one machinists/operators, under direct supervision, load and unload parts in the operation of 2- to 5-axis CNC/Automated mill and lathe machine tools to produce complex machined aerospace parts. Responsibilities include in-process inspection, basic shop math, use of hand measuring tools, some deburr work, and basic preventive maintenance (coolant and lube levels, area cleanliness). Typical experience: 0–2 years.
PrimaryDuties & Responsibilities
- Operate CNC mills, lathes, or Swiss/Star machines
- Inspect produced components per blueprint using standard inspection techniques
- Load/unload parts in provided work holding method per setup
- Replace broken cutting tools/inserts as needed
- Deburr parts as required
- Complete work order documentation in accordance with AS9100 quality standards
- Perform light maintenance on equipment

Mathematical SkillsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Computer SkillsBasic computer use and familiarity with CNC machining methods.

Minimum 1-year experience in industry or related field. Certification in CNC operations preferred.
EducationHigh school diploma or GED required. At least 1 year of industry experience.

Compensation & Benefits (informational)Pay range: $21.00 to $25.00 USD hourly, based on experience. Eligible for the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan. 80 hours paid time off per year and 10 paid holidays. Medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, and 401(k) plan eligibility.
