Position Summary: Building upon level one, with minimal assistance level two machinists operate 2-5 axis CNC/Automated machine cells and standalone machines, including basic setup (fixtures, cutting tools) and loading and adjusting CNC programs and offsets. Level two machinist competencies include advanced inspection tools (height/air gauges, bench inspection) and basic print reading and CNC G/M codes. Typically 2-4 years of experience.

• Operate CNC Mills, Lathes, or Swiss/Star Machines
• Ability to operate 2-3 CNC Mills, Lathes, or Swiss/Star Machines
• Inspects produced components per blueprint using standard inspection techniques
• Loads/unloads parts in provided work holding method per setup
• Replaces broken cutting tools/inserts as needed
• Deburr parts as required
• Completes work order documentation in accordance with AS9100 quality standards
• Light Maintenance Duty of equipment
• Keeps work center clean and free of debris
