This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sheet Metal Worker based in Los Angeles, CA. The Sheet Metal Worker will perform a variety of tasks related to fabricating, assembling, and repairing aircraft sheet metal components. Responsibilities include operating hand tools, performing metalworking tasks, welding, shaping, forming, and installing sheet metal parts for aircraft. Other duties include inspecting finished products to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Qualifications- Proficiency in using hand tools and the ability to safely operate and maintain them.
- Experience in metalworking processes, such as cutting, shaping, and forming.
- Skills in welding techniques and the ability to perform precise welding operations.
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and repairs, especially for aircraft components.
- Familiarity with aircraft structures and compliance with aviation industry standards.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional technical training or certifications in sheet metal work or aviation maintenance are a plus.
