Salary: $95,000 – $105,000 per year.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced EHS Specialist to join our team. This is a permanent position in the Manufacturing industry, where you will play a critical role in establishing and maintaining our environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards. The right candidate will have a strong background in cGMPs, SOPs, JSAs, OSHA, FDA regulations. You must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the Manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities- Developing, implementing, and maintaining EHS programs in line with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conducting regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA, FDA, and other relevant standards.
- Developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
- Providing training and education to employees on EHS regulations and practices.
- Managing and maintaining records of hazardous materials and waste, ensuring proper disposal in accordance with regulations.
- Investigating accidents, identifying root causes, and recommending corrective actions.
- Collaborating with various departments to create a culture of safety and compliance throughout the organization.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in EHS standards and regulations.
- Leading continuous improvement initiatives in the area of EHS.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as an EHS Specialist or in a similar role in the Manufacturing/Pharmaceutical industry.
- Extensive knowledge of cGMP, SOP, JSA, OSHA, Hazardous, EHS, and FDA regulations.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing EHS programs.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and educate employees on EHS practices.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
- A Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
- Professional certification in EHS or related field would be an added advantage.
