Overview
Our client is a leading producer of resins and coatings used across many industries. They have manufacturing facilities across North America and currently seek a hands-on Production Manager to support one of their manufacturing sites near Los Angeles, CA. The Production Manager will have 4 direct reports and will be in charge of all manufacturing operations at this 24/7 manufacturing site.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage all daily manufacturing operations at the Los Angeles area site (24/7 operations).
- Directly supervise 4 staff members and ensure safe, efficient production processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet safety, quality, and reliability targets.
- Degree in chemical engineering or mechanical engineering with experience in chemical manufacturing.
- At least 5 years of total post-graduate experience with a minimum of 2 years of front-line supervision.
- Experience in batch and/or continuous process manufacturing.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma or Lean Six Sigma and familiarity with PSM guidelines.
Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000
