Food Safety Manager

Lead all Food Safety & Quality programs within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, ensuring regulatory compliance, product integrity, and continuous improvement across the facility.

• Oversee daily Food Safety & Quality operations, ensuring compliance with FDA, USDA, HACCP, SQF, and internal standards.
• Maintain and improve the site’s Food Safety Plan, HACCP program, and prerequisite programs.
• Conduct internal audits, manage corrective actions, and lead root‑cause investigations for quality or safety deviations.
• Partner with Production, Maintenance, and Sanitation to ensure consistent execution of quality expectations.
• Lead customer complaint investigations, specification reviews, and documentation accuracy.
• Train and coach employees on food safety practices, GMPs, and quality procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen product consistency, reduce waste, and enhance operational performance.

• 3+ years of experience in Food Manufacturing, Food Production, or related regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of HACCP, GMPs, and food safety regulatory requirements.
• Experience managing or supporting audits (SQF, BRC, USDA, FDA, or similar).

• Hands‑on experience in Food Safety, Quality Assurance, or regulatory compliance within a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

• Experience with SQF, BRC, or other GFSI schemes.
• Familiarity with root‑cause analysis, continuous improvement, or cross‑functional leadership.
