SummaryAs a Manufacturing Quality Inspector, you’ll ensure every component that leaves our facility meets WET’s high standards for precision and performance. You’ll perform inspections, tests, and sampling procedures on incoming materials, in-process parts, and final assemblies used in our world-renowned water features, lighting systems, and control panels. Collaborating closely with engineering and production teams, you’ll help maintain quality excellence across all stages of manufacturing.
EssentialDuties And Responsibilities
- Perform daily quality inspections, including receiving, first article, in-process, and final inspections
- Operate and maintain precision measurement instruments (bore, length, diameter, and thread gauges; gage blocks; pins; indicators; micrometers; and calipers—analog and vernier)
- Operate CMM and FARO Arm equipment and program simple measurement routines using PC-DMIS
- Maintain all inspection documentation and quality lab records with accuracy and detail
- Manage and track calibration schedules for inspection and measurement equipment
- Support engineering and manufacturing teams with quality-related tasks and improvement initiatives
- Identify and assist in root cause analysis of non-conforming parts or assemblies
- Conduct periodic verification of inspection equipment to ensure measurement accuracy
- Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment using 5S methodology
- Technical school diploma or equivalent experience required
- 5+ years of hands-on Quality Control or Inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong working knowledge of precision measurement tools and techniques
- Experience operating CMM and/or FARO Arm equipment; PC-DMIS programming preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- High mechanical aptitude and excellent attention to detail
- Proven ability to perform and validate first article inspections
- Strong math and analytical skills
This position requires the ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time.
