Seafood Processing Associate - Fish Cutter - Night Shift

Pay Rate: $22.00-$25.00 per hour DOE

Schedule: 7:00pm - 3:30am (Monday through Saturday with one day off during the week)

SM Seafood has immediate openings for experienced seafood cutters to cut whole fish, filets, and other saleable products. Clean, trim, cut and trim fish to prepare for packing/stock; process primal parts into cuts that are ready for retail use. Remove parts, such as skin, scales or bones. Inspect products for defects, bruises or blemishes and remove them along with any excess fat.

Pack wholesale and local customer orders. Clean and sanitize adjacent areas as needed.

Follow and apply all the company guidelines and policies (food defense, good manufacturing practices, safety, and sanitation. Use knives or other equipment to perform fish cutting and trimming.

Must be able to liftand carry
50pounds for short distances. Long-term standing required.

Production area maintains a cold temperature, warm clothing is required.
