Turner - Metal Fabricator and Machinist in Los Angeles

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Turner to join our team in Los Angeles USA As a Turner you will be responsible for operating metalworking machines shaping and assembling metal parts to create various products This is a full-time position with a salary of 1000$ per week

• Set up and operate metalworking machines including lathes grinders and drills
• Read blueprints and technical drawings to determine product specifications
• Measure and mark dimensions on metal pieces using measuring tools such as calipers and rulers
• Cut shape and smooth metal pieces using hand tools or machine tools
• Weld or solder pieces together to assemble products
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
• Troubleshoot any issues with machinery or products as needed

• High school diploma or equivalent technical training or apprenticeship in machining preferred
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Turner or similar role in metal fabrication machining
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and using measuring tools
• Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Physical dexterity and strength to operate machinery and lift heavy objects
