Main Functions

Production Technician IV is responsible for setting up and operating production equipment to manufacture, process and assemble. Using product or customer specifications, such as, blueprints, procedures, and visual aids to independently set up, operate, and maintain production machinery to ensure efficient, safe, and high‑quality manufacturing output. This role requires technical skills, the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues, and the capacity to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Production Technician IV works with minimal supervision and will assist in training operators in key processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for training Operators and Technicians.
• Assist maintenance technicians with troubleshooting when needed.
• Monitor equipment performance and make real‑time adjustments.
• Work with Supervisor or Engineering on continuous improvement plans.
• Works on new product development with Engineering to create fixtures/ tooling and set up with proper programming
• Will perform duties of Technician as needed.

Required Skills

• Experience with soldering, welding, testing, or similar assembly processes.
• Comfortability with microscopes, testing equipment, or equivalent processes.
• Comfortable with basic computer/reporting systems (ERP/MRP, data entry).
