The Pump Assembler’s primary focus is to safely build pumps according to specifications, layout plans, blueprints, and other drawings. Utilizes a variety of tools and processes to ensure effective installation and application of Cryogenic pumps.

Education:

High school or equivalent GED

Experience:

Manufacturing assembly experience strongly preferred

Experience using hand inspection tools such as dial indicators, micrometers, calipers, etc.

Experience using air and hand tools

Forklift driving experience is preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing work scope and learn new skills

Ability to read and conform to company standards and building requirements

Ability to work in a standing environment

Ability to read and comprehend manufacturing instructions and read and interpret basic blueprint requirements.

Must be able to work flexible and/or extended hours and report to work on a regular, punctual basis

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform all router steps on the work order required to complete a pump build which includes but is not limited to kitting, building sub-assemblies, non-destructive testing and crating of pumps.

Follow standard work in the production cell to conform to product design specifications and comply with all quality assurance procedures

Perform TPM (total preventative maintenance) on department tools and equipment

Perform Hydro-test on required work order and record values on inspection sheet
