Product Development Assistant - Freelance

We’re looking for an organized, detail-oriented Product Development Assistant to join a fast-paced fashion team in Downtown Los Angeles.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone early in their career with a Product Development or Design background who wants to gain hands-on experience supporting the development process from prototypes through salesman samples and final handoff.

• Track prototypes and salesman samples while maintaining development spreadsheets.
• Communicate product changes and updates across teams.
• Attend fittings and communicate updates to vendors.
• Organize seasonal books, TIPS, and cost sheets.
• Manage samples and prepare products for final handoffs.
• Create and maintain style detail sheets.
• Track and facilitate lab dip approvals.
• Send, receive, check, and distribute incoming packages.
• Maintain organized product files and folders.
• Complete PLM data entry and keep product information accurate.

• 1–2 years of experience in Product Development, Design, or a related area.
• Product Development and/or Design background.
• Experience with Excel and Microsoft Word.
• PLM experience preferred.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
• Comfortable tracking multiple samples, approvals, and deadlines.
• Ability to work fully onsite

$25.00 - $29.00 per hour
