** Position Summary*
* We are seeking an experienced  
** Material Handler & Forklift Operator
** to support warehouse and logistics operations at our chemical manufacturing facility. This hands-on position is responsible for safely receiving, moving, storing, staging, and tracking raw materials, hazardous materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.

** Key Responsibilities*
* + Receive, inspect, label, store, move, and stage materials throughout the facility.

+ Verify material numbers, lot numbers, quantities, labels, and documentation.

+ Operate sit down forklift warehouse equipment.

+ Deliver materials to production and packaging areas and return unused materials to storage.

+ Support shipping, receiving, and finished-goods staging.

+ Perform SAP and Vanquish transactions, cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and adjustments.

+ Maintain accurate inventory records, labels, storage locations, and material traceability.

+ Safely handle hazardous materials, including flammable and corrosive chemicals.

+ Follow all safety, PPE, environmental, and chemical-handling requirements.

+ Maintain clean, organized, and audit-ready warehouse and storage areas.

+ Support 5S, Lean, inventory accuracy, and continuous-improvement initiatives.

+ Communicate effectively with Warehouse, Production, Quality, Shipping, and Supply Chain teams.

** Qualifications*
* + High school diploma or GED.

+ 5+ years of warehouse, material handling, inventory, or logistics experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

+ Forklift or powered industrial equipment experience. Certification is not required at hire; training will be provided.

+

Experience with SAP or another inventory-management system.

+

Experience with cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.

+ Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

+ Ability to read material numbers, lot numbers, labels, and work instructions.

+ Strong attention to safety, accuracy, and organization.

+ Ability to work a flexible  
** 1st and 2nd shift schedule, Monday-Friday** .

** Preferred*
* + Chemical or process manufacturing experience.

+ Hazardous-material handling experience.

+

Experience with flammable/corrosive materials, hazardous-material shipments, Lean, or 5S.
