** Position Summary*
* We are seeking a safety-focused and detail-oriented  
** Packager
* * to join our Los Angeles Advanced Materials team. This role is responsible for safely and accurately packaging, labeling, verifying, and preparing specialty chemical products for customer shipment.

The ideal candidate has manufacturing, packaging, warehouse, or industrial experience and is committed to safety, quality, accuracy, and teamwork. This position offers opportunities for advancement through a structured, skills-based qualification program.

** Key Responsibilities*
* + Package, label, verify, and prepare customer orders according to work instructions and quality requirements.

+ Verify product identity, lot numbers, labels, quantities, and packaging requirements.

+ Complete packaging, batch, shipping, and other required documentation accurately.

+ Follow all safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory procedures, including DOT, IMDG, and IATA requirements.

+ Safely handle chemicals, drums, containers, and packaging materials.

+ Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment; training provided as needed.

+ Maintain clean, organized, and inspection-ready work areas.

+ Support inventory accuracy, material tracking, and cycle counts.

+ Communicate quality concerns, documentation discrepancies, or packaging issues promptly.

+ Work effectively with Production, Quality, Logistics, and other teams.

+ Support continuous improvement and changing production priorities.

** Qualifications*
* + High school diploma or equivalent.

+ 2+ years of packaging, manufacturing, production, warehouse, or industrial experience.

+ Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and maintain accurate records.

+ Basic computer skills and ability to learn company systems.

+ Willingness to safely operate forklifts and other equipment; training provided.

+ Strong attention to detail, reliability, teamwork, and communication.

+ Ability to work either 1st or 2nd shift based on business needs.

+ Willingness to work overtime, including weekends and schedule extensions, as required.

** Preferred Qualifications*
* + Chemical manufacturing or regulated industrial experience.

+ Hazardous-material handling experience.

+ SAP, Workday, QT9, or similar system experience.

+ Forklift experience.

+

Experience with quality, shipping, or inventory documentation.

** Work Environment*
* This is a hands-on manufacturing and packaging environment involving frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive movements. Employees may handle drums, containers, chemicals, solvents, corrosives, and isocyanates while following established safety procedures and using required PPE, including respirators when applicable.
